Arriving by bus or train
If you visit to Poland or Central Europe include more cities and regions there are sewveral good connections from Cracow either by bus (generally cheaper) or train. In both cases to reach the train and bus station takes only a few minutes walk from the apartmens at Matejki Square. There is no nedd at all to take taxi - unless of course - You weren't shoping like a maniac in many of the Cracows boutiques or galerias - shopping malls.

WARSAW: best is of course train connection to Warsaw - direct train dos not stop on the way and the journey between Warsaw and Cracow takes no more than 2 hours 40 minutes.

Baltic coast - most notably Gdansk or the Hel penisula are no more than 7 hours away by train -and that beats car driving by several hours.

Other major cities in central europe you can reach by direct train from Cracow are Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava or Lviv.
